Description
This Poesy Ring is inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer’s 14th century description of (some of) the virtues a good and worthy knight was supposed to embody. Based on a line from the prologue to The Knight’s Tale in the incomparable Canterbury Tales. (The spelling has been modernized somewhat.) The inscription is carved in a firm script (all capitals) with a small star to mark the start of the quote. Cast in Sterling Silver, hand polished. Comfort band. A perfect gift for the courageous knight in your life.
