Description
The windows of Venice, the eternally sinking city, graceful, Gothic, eastern, serene witnesses of Venice’s less than peaceful past. The old palaces that line the canals wear rows of windows like pieces of jewelry left over from their golden youth. Cast from bronze (a warm gold, like Venice in the afternoon), garnished with nuggets of cool green Chrysoprase and tiny discs of dense blue Lapis Lazuli, sterling silver hooks.
Casts a shadow, draws the eye.
