1996 Limited Edition Greenman pin by Brian Nagle
– Not quite the first Greenman. (Brian Nagle actually made an unsigned greenman in 1995.) 1996 was the first year of the Brian Nagle greenman (and greenwoman) series. Signed and numbered. Only 300 were made. (And a handful of “Artist’s Proofs.”) The start of a ten-year plus journey of artistic expression. (Fun fact: some of the 1996 greenman are actually numbered “1997” –call it the curse of dyslexia. We like to think of those as “extra-special collectibles.”)
